Do new cars require detailing?

Yes! Car dealers are notorious for using poor polishing techniques (holograms!) and waxes with heavy silicone fillers which hide surface imperfections, until wax wears off. New cars will also absorb quite a bit of rail dust (ferrous metal particulates) and contamination while in transit from the factory. If you remove these defects and contaminates using proper polishing techniques, and protect the surface with a high quality wax or sealant, you can be absolutely sure your car's paint is off to the right start.

What is paint correction?

Paint correction is the process of removing unwanted contamination and surface defects to maximize the gloss and depth of your vehicles finish. No matter how clean your paint looks, there are almost always contaminants such as industrial fallout, dirt and metal particles embedded or trapped in your clear coat and beneath the surface of your paint. By running your hand along a clean paint surface, these contaminants can be felt as bumps or imperfections. They are harmful to your vehicles finish and must be removed using a combination of chemical and mechanical processes before any polishing can occur.

Why should I have my car detailed?

Not only will a perfectly clean vehicle keep a smile on any owner's face, it will also help maintain the value of your investment. With today's cars regularly exceeding 100K miles, it's important to provide a measure of protection to interior and exterior surfaces against environmental and UV damage. Regular detailing has proven to be effective against these harmful effects making sure your car stays looking great, longer!
